For many years, the Drut’syla tradition has been without a home. Shonaleigh is likely the very last Drut’syla, but that doesn’t have to mean the end of the tradition.
In 2017, some women gathered by a fire and discussed how this incredible women’s storytelling tradition could be kept alive.
Together, we have built House of the West Wind – a (currently) virtual home for the Drut’syla tradition. We are laying the foundations – building up a structure within which we can run courses and find ways of sharing the stories, techniques and culture of the Drut’sylas in the 21st Century.
