Storytelling Mini Festival with Shonaleigh and The Ruby Tree
This electrifying storyteller returns to Bleddfa for a weekend mini-festival of wonderful tales. Shonaleigh holds thousands of stories from the Jewish tradition in her head, and can weave them together at the behest of her audience to make a thoroughly thrilling, rounded, satisfying performance. Her extraordinary powers of delivery will hold you rapt and entertained, make you laugh, maybe even weep. If you thought that storytelling was just for children, or a soporific reading from a book, cast those ideas aside – this is an experience that can blow your socks off.
Over the course of this weekend Shonlaeigh will be making live recordings of all the variations of the story of the Ruby Tree; come and be part of this special project.
