Kala Kahani, (Sanskrit) is “Artistic Tales”, is an exploration of stories from Hindu mythology told through a blending of classical dance, traditional music and storytelling. Audiences will enjoy a taste of colourful and vibrant India illustrated by the formal hand gestures and intricate facial expressions of Indian classical dance. The performances will be fascinating for all, from those new to South Asian arts and culture and to those familiar with the art forms wishing to develop their understanding and knowledge of South Asian arts.
