An online evening course over four Thursdays in December and January.
Everyone loves a good ghost story.
You can make anyone scared in the dark, but making them scared in the sunlight takes skill.
In this course, Shonaleigh shares the secret keys to telling your spooky tales with ease, so that even if the sun is shining, your listeners will feel a shiver down their spine:
- The components of a good ghost story
- Timing and pacing
- The importance of setting
- Language skills
- What to say and what not to say
- Tailoring your ghost story to different ages
This course will be helpful both to storytelling beginners who want to get started and professional storytellers looking to polish their skills.
The first three weeks of this course in December will give you the tools to get started. The final session in January will be a space where you can share and workshop a ghost story you are working with.
The Ghost of a Chance sessions are on Thursday evenings 7.30pm – 9.30pm GMT on the 5th, 12th, 19th of December 2024 and the 9th January 2025.
