Storytelling at the Feast of Fools
7pm - 10pm UTC
Organised by the wonderful storyteller and musician Richard York, the Feast of Fools on the first Wednesday of every month works to promote both traditional and contemporary oral storytelling by bringing together excellent professional storytellers and providing a platform for local tellers and musicians. Usually hosted in Northampton, England, storytelling has been moved online for the time being.
This November, one of the founders of the modern storytelling movement and the first UK storytelling laureate brings his Tale Coat to the Feast of Fools! Taffy Thomas, MBE will be telling alongside Drut’syla and tradition-bearer Shonaleigh, who will explore a short but poignant ten-minute tale as part of a mic-less “Open Mic” night.
