An online course over five Thursdays evenings in April and May 2025.
Join experienced storyteller and trainer Shonaleigh to walk through some basic steps for getting started with storytelling.
- Wisdom begins with wonder… both as awe and exploration.
- The story is not there to serve you but to work with you… you are co-workers, don’t take your story for granted.
- For the relationship between story and storyteller to grow… questions must be asked of both yourself and the story.
- Know everything you tell… but don’t tell everything you know.
This course is suitable for beginners – and for storytellers with experience wanting to remind themselves of the powerful common sense principles underlying their practice.
The Common Sense of Story sessions are on Thursday evenings 7.30pm – 9.30pm BST on the 3rd,10th, 17th, 24th of April plus a fifth session on 8th May 2025 where you will be invited to share whatever story you have been working with during the course.
IMPORTANT: Sessions will not be recorded, you will need to attend live.
